Carroll is one of the 88 counties in the state of Ohio. It was created in 1833 from parts of Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, Stark, and Tuscarawas counties. As of the 2010 census, the population was 28,836. The county seat is Carrollton. The county has 399 square miles in area, of which 395 square miles is land.
