Cass County is one of 92 counties in the state of Indiana. The population was 38,966 in 2010. The largest city, Logansport, is also the county seat with 18,396 people in 2010. The county is north east of Lafayette, and just north of the north-west corner of Kokomo (in Howard County), which nearly touches Cass County. Young America, a small unicorporated town has been noted that it could possibly soon become an extinct town.
