Pike County GA

Pike is one of the 159 counties in Georgia. It was formed in 1822 from a portion of Monroe County. As of the 2010 census the population was 17,869, well up from 13,688 in 2000, but down from the all-time high of 21,212 in 1920. The county seat and largest city is Zebulon.

The county covers 219.43 square miles (568 km2), of which 218.37 square miles (566 km2) is land. It is bordered by Spalding County to the north, Lamar County to the east, Upson County to the south and Meriwether County to the west.
