Stephens County, GA

Stephens is one of the 159 counties in Georgia. It was formed in 1905 from parts of Franklin and Habersham counties. As of the 2010 census the population was 26,175. The county seat and largest city is Toccoa.

The county covers 184.23 sq mi (477 km2), of which 179.26 sq mi (464 km2) is land. It is bordered by Oconee County to the north, Banks County to the southwest, Madison County to the south and Habersham County to the west.
